With nearly a decade of experience in the medical field, Clarence "Lance" Cutsforth serves as a managing director of Ancillary Services NYC in Brooklyn, New York. Outside of work, Lance Cutsforth enjoys watching Broadway plays.

Mixed in with new presentations on the New York City theatre scene are two revivals: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf by Edward Albee and Take Me Out by Richard Greenberg. Both plays have won the prestigious Tony Award in previous seasons.

The new version of Virginia Woolf is set to open on April 9, 2020, and will star Laurie Metcalf, familiar to television viewers from Roseanne and The Big Bang Theory. She will play Martha in Albee’s classic drama about the inner lives of a married couple. Eddie Izzard, the British comedian known for his one-man shows, plays her embittered husband George. The original production in 1962 placed Albee in the top ranks of American playwrights and was later filmed with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton starring.

Premiering on Broadway in 2002, Take Me Out revolves around a fictional baseball team whose leading center fielder comes out of the closet. It stars Jesse Williams, who appeared in the television series Grey’s Anatomy and has produced dramatic and art presentations about African American men. The play will also feature Jesse Tyler Ferguson, known to televiewers as Mitchell on Modern Family, in addition to having an extensive stage career. The new production will premiere on April 2, 2020.
